Youth and Young Adults are not just the hope of the church for tomorrow; they are the leadership of the church today. With energy, vision, enthusiasm and motivated by deep faith, youth and young adults actively participate in mission - transforming the world and themselves in the process.Global Ministries offers mission opportunities to youth and young adults through seminars, scholarships, on-the-job training, and life-changing chances to serve. |

Several authors have defined Youth as;
- Hating to be young and feeling scared about getting older
- Yearning to be like the great and upright persons and attacking them fiercely in front of your friends
- Believing in what to become tomorrow no matter how much one hates his/her self today
- Trying hard to be different from your parents but behaving exactly like them.
- Lying to people who care about you and telling the truth to those who don’t care at all.

WHY YOUTHS
 We emphasize support for opportunities where youths can feel safe, valued, cared for, useful and spiritually motivated. CHALLENGE
East Africa is one of the Regions with overwhelming population of youths. In this case, it has come with many challenges. There are vices of Homosexuality, drug abuse, unemployment, prostitution that are immensely affecting the youths.
ROLE
Here, we urge families, communities and local churches to actively participate in seeing young people happy, healthy and successful.
