For those who looked at HIV and AIDS as a punishment must rethink and instead forge ahead for a better living. Those were the words of Bishop Wandabula during a visit to women affected with the HIV scourge in Migori, Nyanza District in Kenya.

The Bishop donated 11 goats as an investment geared at alleviating poverty, reduce redundancy as well as fight stigma.
He noted that there is high demand of goat meat and milk both at local and international markets saying women must exploit this opportunity and venture into a vibrant goat rearing.
He warned them against being timid because of their status and advised them to participate in various programs like sensitization and counseling in a bid to assist those who are prone to such situation.
These women came together after they experienced rejection from their husbands and relatives. |
