East Africa Annual Conference in Burundi

Burundi is the mother Country of the United Methodist Church in the East Africa Annual Conference. The church established roots way back in 1984 under the leadership of the late Bishop Alfred Ndoricimpa.

The church has since expanded. It has a total membership of 101,991 people across 247 churches. It has also sprung to 9 districts with a pastoral team of 247 pastors.

The Conference is now stuggling to meet the critical need of leadership training and theological education to meet the global methodism mission of making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
