Resident Bishop
He was ordained an Elder in the Methodist tradition in Nairobi, Kenya (1994). Daniel Wandabula was baptized as a baby and became a born again in 1985. He completed a Master of Divinity and Master of Theological Studies degree from Garrett - Evangelical Theological Seminary. He is currently working towards a Doctor of Ministry degree from Asbury Theological Seminary. He was Administrative Secretary of the Methodist Church ( Uganda) in the early 1990’s before returning to Uganda in 1997. He served as the District Superintendent of the Kampala/Jinja District/ Southern Sudan and Project Coordinator of Church Development for the United Methodist Church (UMC) in Uganda and Sudan. He was elected a Bishop of the East Africa Episcopal Area - (EAAC - Burundi, Kenya, Rwanda, Sudan and Uganda) at Africa University, by the Central Africa Conference in May 2006. His leadership, compassion, energy, vision, and empowerment help the poor, disenfranchised, young and old, to have a better “quality of life” is exemplary.
