Traci McCuistion from Central United Methodist Church, Fayetteville, Arkansas has safely arrived in Uganda to work as a mission intern.

Traci was welcomed yesterday by the East Africa Annual Conference (EAAC) Mission Interpreter Rev. Bruce Stensvad and the Coordinator Missions and Ministries, Samuel Mdune at Entebbe Airport.

Mdune says, ‘Traci will work with the Church for six months and will be supported by her Church’.

Her interests are in: Missions, Evangelism and Gardening.

She will work with Church Women Groups of Nabulagala UMC – Kampala, at Wanyange Central UMC, as well as the Women Centre in Jinja.

She will also work with the Humble School chaplain in Evangelism activities around the community. She will do gardening activities at Humble School Farm and the Natural Medicinal Garden.

She was here in June, 2011 with a church mission team led by Jody Farrell. They worked in Jinja with Pastor Edward Magumba's ministry and also went to Gulu UMC District.

Visiting the Episcopal Office, she learned the Bishop welcome Mission Interns to work with in EAAC either on a short or long term basis.

When Traci returned back to the States, she felt a call to return to Uganda, which she shared with her Pastor and Jody.  She is the Missions Lay leader at her Church. Her profession and skills are in Project Management/Administration, Accounting and Counseling. She was a Senior Account Manager and Sales Representative.

Follow Traci on Face book.  I can't believe it's here. So many things going on in my head & heart, but very excited to see what God has planned. Continue your prayers please & hugs to you all!
